The main person’s name sits on the trunk. From there, two branches reach upward to their parents, each branching again to their parents, and so on through the ancestors. Below the trunk, the descendants spread downward — children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren — the living legacy of that central person.
The further back your ancestry goes and the larger your family has grown, the fuller and more breathtaking your tree becomes.
Have more descendants than ancestors? No problem — we can flip the tree so the descendants branch upward and the ancestors form the roots below. Just let us know when you place your order.
